Siat Ventures is a San Francisco based pre-seed venture capital firm backing Asian founders building consumer and wellness companies for the US.

씨앗 (siat) means seed in Korean.

Siat Ventures is built on hands-on operating, leadership and management experience.

Liz Lee is the Founder and General Partner of Siat Ventures. Previously, she ran TELEPASEE, a digital agency in Seoul, for nine years, working with 250 consumer brands and companies like Hyundai, SM Entertainment and CJ. One Korean fashion brand she worked with grew from $400K to $4M in revenue in 12 months.

She founded I in We, a community of 8,000 Korean women in tech, and co-founded the Global Student Startup Competition, both to open doors for the next generation of entrepreneurs. Siat Ventures takes that work further: backing those founders with capital, not just advice.

Liz grew up between Calgary, Lima, Jakarta, Milan and Seoul, and is based in San Francisco.
